Welcome to the largest retail growers of Pinks & Carnations in the world !
We stock over 200 different varieties of Dianthus. We also grow Penstemon's, Aquilegia's, Zinnia's and other garden plants.
Allwoods - the home of the famous Allwoodii pink, such as Doris, the ideal garden pink with their ability to flower all summer long, the beautiful scent is a delight in any garden, listed as Long Flowering Scented Pinks. We also have an extensive range of laced fancy pinks, the types with very decorative flowers and we grow a large range of Heritage Pinks some dating back to as early as the 1600's! and other famous ones like Mrs Sinkins.
Our other passion is the Carnation....
We stock the largest collection of Border Carnations in the UK listing nearly 100 different varieties. Border Carnations are the hardy garden type, with big display flowers in an amazing range of colours and styles, some of them are also incredibly scented and a real treat to behold.
Another type of carnation we grow is the Perpetual Flowering, this variety is generally grown in a greenhouse or conservatory, though at present we are succesfully using them as summer patio plants, with their fantastic repeat flowering ability they make an ideal accompaniment to the garden, and a delight when cutting your own flowers for your vases.
With increasing demand we also stock a selection of Spray Carnations, we have chosen the best varieties for you to be able to grow your own cut flowers. Then of course there is the Trailing carnations which are ideal for hanging baskets.
But that's not all....
As well as garden pinks Allwoods grow a huge range of Penstemons, including many of the best garden varieties available. These summer flowering plants are ideal growing in tubs and flower borders. We can help with gardening aids, books, fertiliser, plant supports, floral accessories and gifts and much more.
