This year sees us celebrate our 100th Anniversary and in celebration of our 100th year 'Allwoods, a potted history' book is now available, beautifully illustrated it details the nursery throughout the years, showing an amazing insight into this fantastic long lasting firm, priced at just £3 you can purchase your copy here.

This year we have released 4 new varieties that have been bred here on the nursery. Allwoods Celebration, Monty Allwood, Allwoods Delight and Summerfield Daniel. You can find them in our New Plants range, along with many other newly listed varieties.

Nursery Open Days

To celebrate our 100th Anniversary this year we will be showcasing much of the firms history at our nursery, we are also having special open days during May & June where we will take you behind the scenes and show you the delights of our stock house & mail order tunnel.

Open Day dates at present are:
26th & 27th May
8th & 9th June
15th June

Itinery, we have a morning and afternoon tour timetable as follows:
10am complimentary tea & biscuits
10.30am Tour starts, will take approximately 1 hour, with a question and answer session at the end.

2pm complimentary tea & biscuits
2.30pm Tour starts, will take approximately 1 hour, with a question and answer session at the end.

There will be a £5 charge per person, payable in advance.
On the day we will guide you around the nursery, giving you the history of Allwoods along with complimentary tea and biscuits, you will also receive 5 Dianthus plants to take home with our compliments. Spaces will be limited.
