Spray carnations are so named because of the many buds that are produced from each stem, and when grown as a cut flower can be mixed to create stunning floral arrangements. For good foliage and flower results we recommend feeding, and our tried and tested plant food is ideal. If they are over-wintered in a heated greenhouse they will flower all year round, alternatively keep them in a sheltered spot and they will start again in the spring. Other than normal watering & support they require very little care, for best results grow 5 or 6 plants in a large patio pot.
