Making A Purchase Could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. You can order from us with complete security confidence, all orders are dealt with in the srictest manor and your card details are destoryed once your order has been processed and payment has been taken. We accept Visa / Mastercard / Switch / Maestro. If you prefer, you can order now and phone through your credit card number direct to our office on 01273 844229, Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm. All orders must be paid for in full at the time of the order being placed. We reserve the right to charge a 10% administration charge on cancelled orders. We can send our young plants to all countries within the European Union. All orders must be paid for in full at the time of the order being placed/received. We will do our best to fulfil your order as requested and we only send young plants out when we are happy that they will thrive. If a variety is out of stock we may substitute with the nearest alternative variety rather than hold up your order, unless you state otherwise. If you state that substitutes are not acceptable we assume that you are prepared to wait until all are ready - if they are likely to cause a long delay we will send a credit note for the unavailable variety. We do not post plants out during Novermber to beginning of February, due to cold weather unless asked to do so. Orders received during this time will be held until February or when suitable for the plants ordered. We reserve the right to amend prices due to circumstances beyond our control. FREE with every order we send out a copy of our new and improved 16 page guide to help get you started and long term care. The placing of an order constitues acceptance of our Terms of Business. If you are in any doubt about any of the plants you receive then please see our guarantee.
Shipping And Handling By devising our own packaging system we have been able to keep these costs to a minimum, however the following charges apply to your order, which includes order processing, packaging, packing and posting.

To UK addresses we charge £2.95 for any plants, gardening aids or seeds ordered. Items are posted using Royal Mail as courier, we cannot guarantee arrival, if your item goes missing / delayed you have to take the matter up with Royal Mail and claim from them. We can only guarantee your delivery if you request EXPRESS SERVICE after checkout. EXPRESS SERVICE is chargable at an extra £4.50 per order, and on receipt of your order we will endeavour to despatch your items within 7 working days subject to availability, if we are unable to despatch within 7 working days we will write and confirm when despatch will be. This service also guarantees your parcels arrival and a signature will be required on delivery.

To EU addresses we charge £9.95 for any plants, gardening aids or seeds ordered. Items are posted on a Monday using Royal Mail as courier. We unfortunately cannot offer EXPRESS SERVICE to EU addresses.

Flowers by Post - all flowers are priced with standard delivery this service is non guaranteed and if in the event of loss we are unable to replace the item. We offer a Track & Trace service which enables us to monitor your flowers and if in the unfortunate event they are lossed or delayed we can replace it. We can only compensate for loss or non delivery if no attempt at delivery has been made within 4 days of despatch. This is a signed for service. Does not guarantee arrival on specific dates, you will need to use our NEXT DAY service, this guarnatees delivery on your requested date and we can track the flowers. This is a signed for service and can only be used for arrivals Tuesday to Friday. Delivery outside of the UK we can post to anywhere in the EU, we use Royal Mail as courier and flowers are posted on Mondays only. Delivery dates are not guaranteed and if the item is lost you have to take the matter up with Royal Mail. We do not offer a Track & Trace or Next Day guaranteed service to non UK addresses.

Due to the high costs involved we do not offer refunds.


Delivery Schedule Deliveries are normally despatched within 28 days on receiving your order, and in practice usually quicker than this, but please be aware that February to May are our busiest months and orders received during these months will probably take longer as we work on a strict rotation of first come, first served.

Guarantee We fully understand that we are sending living plants so there is always the possibility that something may go wrong along the way! Most other nurseries say that once they have delivered the plants to you they are your esponisbility, but we offer a full 30 Day Guarantee.

If, at any time during the first 30 days, you are unhappy fo any reason then please send the plants back to us, preferably in a stout box. We will replace them or refund your money. Due to high costs involved we do not offer a replacement plant service for orders outside of the UK - you must return the plants as usual and we will send a credit note or refund your credit card.

If you do not return the plants then this invalidates the guarantee

we can only keep our standards high by investigating the cause of problems.

We feel 30 days is a very fair guarantee period, so please do not return plants after that length of time or expect or us to refund/replace them.

Regretfully Allwoods does not pay the cost of return postage.
