Fringed perfumed blooms of bright mauve pink.
Old time favourite with a neat cushion habit.
Height 10-12".
Position: They grow into clumps and like a sunny well drained spot. Feeding is essential and our slow-release fertiliser (found in the Gardening Aids section) is ideal. Simply scatter the granules around the area where the pinks are planted and every time it rains or you water them the feed slowly releases into the soil. Regular dead heading is recommended. They have a relatively short flowering season consisting of mainly June & July. They can be more temperamental to over-watering than more modern varieties but we find that each one has a certain charm and we thoroughly recommend growing them.
