Beautiful sun yellow ground with think pink picotee.
Position: They can be grown outside during the summer months -grown as a patio plant for superb results- but they will require a coldframe, conservatory or greenhouse in winter - treat them like a houseplant. If they are kept in a heated environment during the winter months (minimum temperature of 45oF) they will continue to flower but not as prolifically as during the summer months. Greenhouse perennial, they dislike prolonged wet conditions during the winter months. They do not mind the cold or frosts. Due to the flowering height, they will require support. Good air circulation and plenty of light is essential for good growth and healthy plants. Regular watering to maintain moist but not wet compost and feeding throughout the season is essential. Our balanced plant food is ideal for this, or a general liquid feed such as Phostrogen is satisfactory.
