Succulent - Commonly known as "The Dinner Plate plant" The flat, pot level rosettes can reach up to 50cm in diameter. Once reached flowering maturity the rosette will then create the flower and subsequently die off, to make way for new baby rosettes. The flowers are yellow. Don't overwater and the rosette will always have a slight lean to prevent water pooling in the centre and subsequently rotting it off.
Off-shoots can produce cristate versions, which are attractive in their own right.
