Delivery of Plants: (Autumn)

We have now entered our Autumn season and this can be a busy time for us after the hot summer months, we appreciate that you would like your plants immediately but please remember we are a family firm and pride ourselves on our quality and service so with this in mind we ask that you please be patient, we are dealing with a living product that isn't sitting on a shelf waiting to be picked, packed and posted we have to propagate, nurture and grow all these varieties ready for posting and sometimes the weather isn't always in our favour or the plants don't produce enough cuttings - however rest assured we want to send your order out to you as quickly as possible and we refuse to send out plants if we ourselves are not happy with them.

To help you we now offer a range of delivery services (further details below) which can speed your order up - subject to plant availability, please ensure you select the delivery that meets your requirements.  If you have already placed your order and wish to upgrade your delivery method please contact our office Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm, please quote your order number if possible and our office staff will happily help. Our office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm (excluding Bank Holidays)

Current delivery times: Orders placed today will be posted within 7-28 days, unless the Express Delivery service (see below) has been selected.

Please note: as we grow everything here ourselves, our stock availability varies greatly as we are dealing with a living product therefore there may be times when an item is shown in stock on our website however when your order is ready to be picked & packed we have sold out and are waiting for the next batch to root, we will either substitute your item or refund if you have requested No Substitutes or if there is going to be a very long delay. Rooting can take 4-8 weeks depending on the varieties and cutting availability - if the plants are not producing the cuttings we cannot take any! We work on a strict rotation of first come, first served on all orders received. These delivery schedules are a guideline - and we work as quickly as possible to get all orders out promptly

Post & Packing charges:  Please read the following information when selecting your delivery method to ensure your chosen delivery meets your requirements.

 

Standard 2nd Class Delivery £7.95 (UK addresses only). On receipt of your order we aim to post within 11-30 working days subject to delivery schedule above.  Standard 2nd Class is not an insured or guaranteed service. Items are sent 2nd class, using Royal Mail as courier and can take 2-4 days to arrive. The plants are thoroughly checked and carefully packed before dispatch, however after their journey some varieties can look tired or have yellow leaves, and will need to get back into the light to recover, once potted up & given time they’ll revive without any problems, we cannot be held responsible if you are not in and the order is delayed.  For a speedier / insured delivery service see below

1st Class, insured delivery £9.95 (UK addresses only)  On receipt of order we aim to post within 11-30 working days subject to delivery schedule above.  1st Class Insured delivery items are sent Royal Mail Tracked24 and can take 1-3 days to arrive. In the event you are out on day of attempted delivery a card will be left and the item will be taken back to your local Royal Mail sorting office & you’ll have to arrange for it to be redelivered or collected. We cannot be held responsible if you are not in & the order is delayed.

Super Express Delivery £16.95 (UK addresses only) On receipt of order we aim to post within 2-10 working days subject to plant availability.  This is our super speedy, insured delivery service.  We aim to post your order within 2 to 10 working days, items will be sent Royal Mail Tracked24 and can take 1-3 days to arrive once posted. If you wish to select Super Express Delivery and a particular delivery day/month in advance we will hold your order until your selected day/month and then at the correct time your order gets priority in the packing department - if we are unable to dispatch within 10 working days we will ring or write and confirm when dispatch will be. This service guarantees your parcels arrival. In the event you are out on day of attempted delivery a card will be left and the item will be taken back to your local Royal Mail sorting office and you will have to arrange with them to get it re-delivered or collected. We cannot be held responsible if you are not in and the order is delayed.
